Terms of use

What the app does

Splishare helps you record shared expenses and see who owes whom. It is a record-keeping tool only: it never holds, sends or receives money. Payments you make to each other happen outside the app (for example in your UPI app) and you record them here yourself.

Your account

You sign in with your Google account. Keep that account safe; anyone who can use it can sign in as you.

You can delete your account at any time from Profile. Expenses you shared stay in their groups as "Deleted user" so the other members' balances stay correct.

Groups and shared records

Everything you add to a group (expenses, payments, names, UPI IDs you enter for others) is visible to every member of that group. Only add people and details you have a right to share.

Amounts are calculated from what members enter. Check them before you pay anyone; we are not responsible for payments made on the basis of incorrect entries.

Free plan and Pro

The free plan has limits on groups, members and expenses per day. Pro removes them. Pro is a subscription billed by Google Play, which handles renewals, cancellation and refunds under its own terms.

If a subscription ends, your data stays; groups over the free limits become read-only.

Acceptable use

Do not use the app for anything unlawful, to harass anyone, or to store other people's personal data without their consent. We may suspend accounts that do.

Liability

The app is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, Splishare is not liable for indirect losses or for disputes between group members.

Contact and grievances

Questions: support@splishare.com. Grievance officer: grievance@splishare.com. We acknowledge grievances within 24 hours and resolve them within 15 days.

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
